Contributions to SEF 

Sequim Education Foundation (SEF) gives individuals, businesses, and local community groups a way to become working partners with Sequim schools and teachers.  For your contributions to SEF are put to work to help Sequim teachers teach, and Sequim school children learn.

SEF's status as a non-profit¹ public charity² ensures accountability, responsible financial stewardship of donated funds, and it means that your contribution is tax-deductible to the maximum extent allowed by law. 

Equally important, because SEF board members are strictly unpaid volunteers, 100% of your contribution works to the advantage of education.  We apply your dollars to programs aimed at specific results and insist on conscientious follow-up.

Our policy requires that whenever possible, all outside purchases be made through locally-owned Sequim businesses.  We thus support the community in a larger sense and create positive awareness of SEF projects.

Many worthy charitable organizations exist.  However, we believe SEF provides a unique opportunity that leads to outstanding personal satisfaction and reward.  When you contribute to SEF, you become a valued working partner in our schools.   You have a direct and positive effect on our children's education and thus, make a unique difference for the future of the community.  

Your investment in learning is an investment in a better community.  Bright, enthusiastic students can be our legacy for the next generation.  By giving them the tools to compete successfully, we continue the legacy of learning.
